BGCS is currently accepting applications for the following positions for the 2024/2025 school year (open until filled):
-Substitute teacher
–General Curriculum Exceptional Children’s teacher.
–BGCS is seeking a part time counselor starting immediately. The candidate will perform a variety of tasks related to supporting students’ academic, career and personal development. Tasks may include but are not limited to:
-Helping students develop academic plans, overcome challenges, and achieve goals
-Providing guidance to students on a variety of topics, including social and behavioral issues, career choices, and mental health
-Teaching students and staff about important topics like bullying and drug use
-Working with teachers, parents, and administrators to help students succeed
-Reporting cases of possible neglect or abuse
-Referring students and parents to resources for additional support
-Helping school administrators plan and carry out school-related programs and events
-Mediating conflict between students and teachers
-Improving parent/teacher relationships
